Introduction to Cicchetto Brand

Cicchetto was founded in 2020 by two friends, a chef and a barman, born and raised in Italy who met in Toronto. Driven both by passion and appreciation for authentic quality products, they decided to launch their own line of liqueurs. After months of perfecting every aspect of their brand, they proudly introduced their first products: Cicchetto Limone and Cicchetto Mandarino. Cicchetto products are made using only fresh, natural and hand-selected ingredients. Our artisanal production techniques lead to the highest quality results. 

After only 1 year from starting our business venture we introduced our line of RTD (ready-to-drink) cocktails. Cicchetto Limone Spritz is produced using our Limone and Cicchetto Pompelmo Spritz uses a grapefruit liqueur we created just for this project. Both cans are offered in a 355ml sleek aluminium can. Other than the base-liquor, they include carbonated water, natural quinine extract and fresh lemon juice.

Our most recent products are Cicchetto Nocino and Cicchetto Amaro York. They were introduced in early 2024. Nocino is bitter and sweet, mellow and robust, made only using the finest Niagara walnuts and a unique blend of spices. This dark and tasty liqueur is renowned for its amazing flavor and its ability to ease digestion.

Finally. the first botanical/herbal liqueur of the line: Cicchetto Amaro York. A long over due project that finally came to life, our amaro is crafted with a blend locally sourced ingredients and time-honored production methods to encapsulate the spirit of Canada and Italy combined in every sip. Cicchetto Amaro York is amber in colour and aromatized with botanicals inspired by alpine, Mediterranean and local terroir. Complemented by dried citrus peel, high toned herbs, root elements, and sweetened with local maple syrup. The palate is smooth, delicately textural, with warm intense spice notes, followed by a long lasting finish.

It includes many botanicals and herbs such as gentian, rhubarb root, chamomile, cinnamon and peppermint, many of them found here. Canadian organic maple syrup is used as sweetener, making it the first of its kind in the world. We recently won the Platinum Medal for best amaro in North America at the L.A. Spirit Awards.
